All week, we've been celebrating DOT DAY at North Oakview! Dot Day is based on the the book, The Dot, written and illustrated by Peter Reynolds. It encourages having a "can do" attitude and marking your mark on the world around you. In library, students "made their mark" in many ways! From Dot Day trading cards to designing 3D dots that came to life using iPads to using dot stickers to make their own creation, fun was had by all. Many classes also had the chance to connect with other classes from across the United States through Skype. Check out a few of our fun activities below!
